Payments — Take Your First Online Payment

Who it’s for: Businesses taking deposits, one‑off payments or subscriptions.
Time needed: 10–15 minutes.
You’ll need: A Stripe account (and/or PayPal where supported).

Steps

1. Connect a processor
   Settings ▸ Payments → connect Stripe (and/or PayPal if available).

2. Create a product/price
   Add name, amount, description and tax if needed.

3. Generate a payment link or invoice
   Choose one‑off or subscription, select the customer, and create the link.

4. Send to the customer
   Share by SMS/email directly from LeadConnector.

5. Track the result
   Check Payments ▸ Orders/Invoices/Subscriptions for status and receipts.

• Enable Apple Pay/Google Pay (via Stripe) for faster checkout.

• Automate receipts and failed‑payment reminders with Workflows.

• Can I take deposits? Yes—create a line item with the deposit amount and invoice it.

• Do subscriptions run automatically? Yes—until you cancel or a payment fails.

Troubleshooting

• Link says unavailable: Make sure the product/price is active.

• Card declined: Ask the customer to try another card/wallet; check Stripe for the decline reason.
