Wallet Auto Recharge & Auto Ramp‑Up — How They Work (and How to Disable)

Auto Recharge automatically tops up your wallet when your balance dips. Auto Ramp‑Up can increase your recharge amount if you’re topping up frequently. Here’s how it works and how to turn Ramp‑Up off.

Who it’s for: Anyone running ads, SMS or calls funded by the wallet.
Time needed: 5 minutes.

How Auto Recharge works (plain English)

  • You choose two things:

    1. Recharge amount (how much to add each time).

    2. Threshold (the balance that triggers a top‑up).

  • When your balance falls below the threshold, the system charges your saved payment method and adds funds.

How Auto Ramp‑Up works

  • If the same recharge amount triggers several times in a short period (e.g., £500 three times in a week), the system may move you up to the next tier (e.g., to £1,000) so you top up less often.

Turn Auto Ramp‑Up off

  1. Open your Wallet ▸ Auto Recharge settings.

  2. Click the ⋯ (three dots) menu.

  3. Choose Disable Auto‑update.

  4. Confirm. You’ll see that Auto Ramp‑Up is now off.

FAQs

  • Will I be charged without notice? Only if your balance is below the threshold and Auto Recharge is enabled.

  • Can I change the amount later? Yes—edit the recharge amount and threshold any time.

Troubleshooting

  • Unexpected larger top‑up: Check whether Auto Ramp‑Up is on; disable if you prefer a fixed amount.

  • Recharge didn’t trigger: Confirm your balance actually fell below the threshold and that your saved card is valid.
